Moray Council

Moray is located in the north-east of Scotland and covers an area of 2,200 square kilometres. We are the biggest provider of social rented housing in Moray with around 6,000 houses spread across the area. The main housing areas are Elgin, Buckie, Forres, Keith and Lossiemouth. The rest of our houses are dispersed in smaller settlements.  Most properties are suitable for people with general needs, although there are some sheltered properties and other types of amenity housing.  

We are responsible for operating a wide range of public sector services including education, housing, social care, planning, economic development, roads, environmental protection, and leisure.
